Cruise With Dogs

No, that's not what the poop deck is all about - not even on this cruise - an opportunity to see Chicago's amazing skyline with your best friend with four legs - that is what it's all about!

Tickets are $35 per person, but canines are free (so if you are very cheap perhaps you can dress up as a dog and fool the staff). Register HERE.

The idea for these sight-seeing cruises for dogs (yes, highlights include the parks with the most squirrels and the city's oldest fire hydrant) began on my then WGN radio show. All I asked Holly Agra of Mercury Chicago's Skyline Cruiseline
when I came up with the idea of a Chicago architecture cruise for dogs
is that she offers one event to benefit pets. And she's
done just that, raising funds for the Anti Cruelty Society.

Mercury Chicago's Skyline Canine Cruises are now a Chicago institution - people travel here with their dogs just to go on the Lake Michigan excursion. The canine cruise season begins n on July 10, and the rides are are offered each Sunday at 10 a.m. Adults are $25, dogs are $7 and children under 10-years are $13. Learn more at Call 312.332.1353.

All Mercury Chicago's Skyline Cruises depart on the Southeast Side of Michigan Avenue at Wacker Drive.
