This animal lover was - well, just a little late, and more than a little loaded. Donald Wolfe saw an animal lying in the middle of the road.
He pulled over.
Sadly, Mr. Wolfe was unable to bring the opossum back to life. That is likely because the dead opossum had been hit by a car at least several days earlier.
Mr. Wolfe was more than a tad over-served at the time of his heroic efforts. In fact, police charged him with 'public drunkenness.'
Chicago's been embarrassed enough - this event happened 65 miles northeast of Pittsburgh, PA.
