Tree House Humane Society (Uptown location, Carmen at Broadway) began Lights of Love ten years ago to honor those we've lost (pets and people). An Italian light is lit for each memory - Saturday, over 40,000 lights will shine at the shelter, it's beautiful and touching. Lights of Love is Saturday (December 12, 3 to 8 pm), and includes me reading "The Rainbow Bridge" at 6 p.m. I hope to see you there. This is one of my favorite things.
