Back when trick-or-treating after dark was still acceptable, before cell phones, and when dressing up meant wearing something actually scary, Halloween on a Friday was one of the greatest things that could happen as a kid. All of the children in the neighborhood dressed up, grabbed our pillow cases and set out for the yearly candy crusade through the Chicago suburbs. The night inevitably ended at one of our houses sorting candy, eating pizza and Halloween-themed finger foods.
If you’re stilling planning your Halloween bash, I’ve come across 3 no-cook and 3 easy-cook, great Halloween recipes. These can be easily prepared the night before or right after you get home from work, before the little boys and ghouls get home from trick-or-treating.
