If you haven’t been to RA Sushi recently, you probably don’t know that they’ve got a few new additions to their menu. And when I say a few, I mean like a dozen or more! If you’ve been reading my blog for a while now you may remember my post in April 2011 about the sushi making class I took. I’m the first to admit that sushi is a slight obsession of mine, so when RA Sushi invited me to taste some items from their new menu I jumped at the occasion.
Taste Tester #1 (official boyfriend of Steph Eats Chicago), and I were treated to two of RA’s new drinks and a four course-tasting menu!
- Edamame Dip
- Bonfire Shrimp
- Garlic Edamame
- Spicy Salmon
- “RA”ckin Shrimp
- Salmon with Green Beans
- Black Pepper Teriyaki Asian Chicken Wings
- Chili Ponzu Asian Chicken Wings
- Drunken Black Mussels
- Sweet Mochi Ice Cream
From all the items we tasted, I’d have to recommend the edamame dishes as the ones I liked best, as well as the drunken mussels. I also really enjoyed the spicy salmon taco and loved the crispy rice paper shell on all of the Asian tacos!
