Yes, ok, we all know now that Coach Fitz's twitter account inadvertently pissed off every Chicago's-NBA-Team fan in Chicago.  I'm actually surprised this accidental-tweeting-from-the-account-you-manage doesn't happen more often, to be honest.  We won't go into detail about this, however.  We have much more important things to cover, like this incredible find: We here at SFTF pride ourselves in scouring the interwebs and introducing to you all of the different "Pat Fitzgeralds" out there, in order to broaden your appreciation for the one we have and open your mind to what else exists in this wonderful world we live in.  That being said, how have we never heard of this guy before?  Did we totally miss that there were two dudes named "Pat Fitzgerald" who were selected to All-American first teams in 1995 and 1996??  He was also a two-time Academic All-American, and was named to the Texas Longhorns' Hall of Honor this past fall.  Impressive. Personally, as a Bills fan, I'm upset about not remembering that we drafted him with a 7th-round pick in 1997... though we've had more than a few forgettable draft classes, like that year we had 2 first round picks and drafted Ohio State's whole secondary.
