Dave Matthews Band are a great live act that I have seen many times. Wrigley Field is the best place to see a ballgame and is now becoming a "BIG EVENT" concert venue. Tickets sold out right away for this incredible night of music. Jason Mraz is scheduled to open the show.

The last time I won tickets to Wrigley, my next door neighbor and I arrived only to find our seats were behind giant beams holding up the roof.

On the afternoon of the 3rd of July show at Alpine Valley, my girlfriend cancelled out on me and I was stuck with the tickets. That was to be my 1st DMB show Having said that, my concert adventures would be complete with a DMB show @ Wrigley after attending both Buffett and The Police there! (No, she's no longer my girlfriend)

I think one of the only things that can top this coming weekend of DMB at Wrigley was Henry Rowengartner's debut at the stadium. When the 40,000+ fans usher into Wrigley Friday and Saturday night, the stage is going to be set for nothing short of a momentous show. It will be the last shows of their last summer tour for a year, in Chicago, on a wonderfully beautiful weekend. With a tour that has been full of old classics being ressurected, and new songs being blown to new heights, it will be nothing short of fantastic. CubbyBear for pre parties, and if you survive...after as well ;-)
DMBs music is great, but the reason they are truly great is because they will being 80k+ people together this weekend for good times, good drinks, good laughs, and a momentuous end to summer 2010!

We are lucky to live in the ultimate summer destination. You know, last year we were also the best New Year's Eve destination. I guess that makes this the best darn place in the world to live. Thanks for entering. It is going to be hard picking a winner from all these great writers.
Been going to DMB for 14 years, this year is the first one to miss. DMB's music is not just lyrics, there are meanings. His sister was murdered by her husband - dedicating "Under the table and dreaming" to her. His sisters kids came to the States where Dave and his other sister Jane took care of them - "The Song that Jane likes" There is depth, heart and soul into his music. This is also a redemption for the 2004 incident here in Illinois. Probabtion involved DMB having to log every location, date and time their tour bus emptied our its tanks for five years. This is the first year off probation and a time to celebrate. Everyone make mistakes, but there are many that don't care..he does- "Im a long way, from that fools mistake, and now forever pay..."Now Ive been praying, for some way to show them, Im not what they see. Yes I have done wrong" "I need so.. to stay in your arms, see you smile, hold you close"
