I'm a huge fan of goals. I'm way more a fan of goals than resolutions. Don't get me wrong - I don't think we can help but think of things we want to do in the new year every New Year's Eve, but monthly and even daily goals are so much more achievable, right? And, I'm a huge checklist person. There's such a feeling of accomplishment when you have a list of things in front of you and get to cross each one off, or put a huge red check mark next to each one!
When you tell someone your goals, or better yet - when you write them down and make them public (ahem!), I think it makes it even easier to reach them. I know it helps me stay accountable when I've put my goals out there - especially when they're as public as out on my blog. I have to then be honest about having reached them....or not, once the month ends. While I haven't done this all year, now that we're at the halfway point of the year, June seemed like a great time to start.
Here we go!
- Make it to the gym 15 times
- Write two social media articles and submit them to SocialMediaToday
- Consistently blog: post at least 3 per week
- Check out the "Greetings From Chicago" wall - it's crazy to me that I've never seen it in person!
- Work on my bedroom décor
What goals do YOU have for June? Please share them in the comments!
