Shock: Why Women Reject Men for Sex

By A Comeaux

Don't we all just love the holidays?

Great food, family time and catching up with friends... But things aren't all grace and blessings after-dark! The raunchy dialogue is sure to ensue once the spiked eggnog is served and when I say spicy I'm not talking about the greens... A few male cousins and I had a chat that turned into an epiphany for me: Male mileage (number of sex partners) is real and ever present like, literally, never before.

Let me set the premise: Remember the days of old when a guy was looked upon as a stallion if he'd taken down the entire cheerleading squad? Flip the script, if a girl was believed to have let one too many explorers in her sea then she was an instant 'loose' canon.

Today, I was under the impression that men can have as many lovers as they wanted and he'd maintain his stripes. Ladies and gentlemen I stand corrected! I've been informed men get rejected for sex due to their whorish past, too! *gasp (how's THAT feel? *D'Angelo voice)

Seriously, this was funny until I saw the sincerity in their faces. A look of defeat and utter befuddlement pervaded their previous points of glee. Men now know how it feels to be called a 'ho', easy, loose and (wait for it) "community meat" (*insert Nicki Minaj blink)

Yes, male mileage is a thing. It is real and women are taking note! While I do not preach for gender roles to be extinct, I do expect the same respect in terms how adults handle themselves sexually. I do feel a woman should hold men to a standard conducive to her beliefs and morale. We should not have to accept men slanging pipe all over town just because 'he's a man and that's what men do!' Nope. If you're down with 'community meat', you will be frowned upon and shaded just like some men look at easy women.

It feels like when we raise the bar, men react. Ever heard of the phrase, 'these loose women are messing up the curve'? Well if we all took a closer look at those we entertain for lovers, I think they will get the message and if not keep it in their pants, maybe be more discreet and not brag on their 'number'. It's not cute fellas, and apparently, your numbers count too!

I'm A Comeaux and I approve this message. (Tweet me your 'number', lol)
