Blindspotting: The Must-See Film About Race, Class & Gentrification
Six Brown Chicks' official correspondents Cabryl Breotti and Laura Miller.

Our Cabryl Breotti and Laura Miller sat down with lifelong friends and collaborators of a timely, wildly entertaining film, Blindspotting (opens in theaters on July 20th).

In the film, 'Collin (Daveed Diggs) must make it through his final three days of probation for a chance at a new beginning. He and his troublemaking childhood best friend, Miles (Rafael Casal), work as movers, and when Collin witnesses a police shooting, the two men’s friendship is tested as they grapple with identity and their changed realities in the rapidly-gentrifying neighborhood they grew up in.'

Rotten Tomatoes gives the film a fresh score of 93% and we couldn't agree more. Here's what longtime friends and collaborators, Daveed Diggs and Rafael Casal co-writers and co stars of the film, shared with us.
