Growing up, I loved to dance to music. While I didn’t always dance physically, I would imagine myself dancing and would often see my grandma dancing in the kitchen while cooking and tasting her dishes. She loved to cook and was even better at dancing; swaying her hips from side to side while serving us food. It has always been a great memory from childhood and I relived that feeling on a recent trip to Walt Disney World Resorts.
As an entrepreneur who has several business adventures to include social media promotions, it was a delight to be flown to Walt Disney World’s upscale resort and assess their fine dining experience for adults. Usually known for being a prime spot to take children, I quickly learned that it is just as prime and fancy for couples, girlfriend getaways and hanging with the guys. With my Canon 7D in hand, I spent 4 amazing days and 3 luxurious nights at their Yacht Club Resort with my home girl Zondra Hughes and we painted Walt Disney World Six Brown Chicks style.
Each day, all day and into the night consisted of visiting various restaurants, attractions, lots of fine dining, chats with top chefs like Carla Hall of The Chew, delicious wine tastings and great music! People danced to wonderful music in the streets at Magic Kingdom while visiting various street-side shops. We experienced everything from African themed music and cuisine at Jiko, salsa at Paradiso 37 to more contemporary music at Brown Derby. There was even an "Eat to the Beats" concert featuring the awesome group Sister Sledge.
On one of the night's there were amazing fireworks and even a "party of the senses" with food and wine parings from chefs across the country. Disney is a great place to go and relax, enjoy fine dining, dance to a variety of music and even meet your favorite Disney characters. Are you ready to go?!
