My favorite season of the year is here! It’s true; I am kind-of obsessed with autumn. It’s time for oversize sweaters, scarves, caramel apples, college & NFL football and pumpkin everything.
I’m feeling cozy today; so when I began flipping thru my recipe file this afternoon, this appetizer from Better Homes & Gardens – March 2011 stood out. This will be the perfect snack for watching the Emmy’s with some girlfriends tonight.
Super easy: Combine one cup of mixed olives in oil with 8 oz. of feta cheese in a terra-cotta plant saucer. Bake at 350° F until cheese is soft & lightly browned. Serve with crackers, pita or fresh baguette. Two bricks & a tealight candle make the perfect warming dish. Yum!
