Ravinia has just announced their lineup for the 2018 season. The festival which will run from June 1 through September 16 will feature more than 140 performers and special events.
Highlights this year include Roger Daltrey, Seal, Bryan Adams, Buddy Guy, Anita Baker, Whoopi Goldberg (ages 18 and up), Bonnie Koloc, Culture Club with Boy George, The Beach Boys, 50 Cent, Diana Ross, Cake with Ben Folds, Earth, Wind & Fire, Lyle Lovett and Tony Bennett.

There will be a special summer long tribute to Leonard Bernstein's centennial with the mega event of the summer the Leonard Bernstein 'MASS' on July 28.
The festival will also celebrate the 30th anniversary of Ravinia's Steans Music Institute and Mexican culture with opening day June 1 featuring Los Lobos and closing day September 16 with a Mexican festival and performance by Los Tigres del Norte.
Ravinia is ramping up their comedy scene for the 2018 season with Whoopi Goldberg (August 2) Martin Short and Steve Martin (August 12), Alan Cumming (July 13) and Joey Villagomez (September 16) as part of the Ravinia Fiesta celebration.
Another hot ticket is Ravinia's popular film series that screens popular films to live orchestra music shown on video screens in the Pavilion and on the Lawn. This year there will be four films: E.T. The Extra-Terrestrian (August 1); Raiders of the Lost Ark (August 2); Vertigo (August 15) and The Red Violin (August 21).
Tickets will be available to donors beginning March 20. Tickets for the general public go on sale May 8 for June and July performances and on May 10 for August and September shows at Ravinia.org.
