Super Bowl 2012: Five Last Minute Ideas Where to View Super Bowl in Chicago.

Super Bowl 46 is finally here with the New England Patriots taking on the New York Giants today (Sun., Feb. 5, 2012, 5:30p.m.) in Indianapolis. If you are stuck in Chicago--not a bad place to be--here are some last minute ideas where you can join other fans and party the day away.

Traditional Fare.

The Burger Bar is hosting "The Ultimate Tailgate" party for today's Super Bowl.  Starting at 3p.m. (through the end of game) they will be offering a chili bar, brats, burgers, wings, quesadillas, brisket, pork sliders, smoked brisket, a dessert bar and more. New England Patriots Fans.

Patriot Fans will feel at home at Tripoli Tap.  Expect typical pub fare at this Lincoln Park neighborhood bar that features an oversized Red Sox flag over the front door and lots of Boston love.  On Super Bowl Sunday there will be drink and food specials all day--no reservations--come as you are.  Doors open at 11 and the kitchen at 11:30. 1147 W. Gold Coast Treasure.

Since the early '60's Butch McGuire’s in the Gold Coast area which is known to some as the Viagra Triangle has been packing them in.  It is a warm, friendly, cozy and, affordable spot to see the game.  Specials include 40 cent wings; $8 pitchers of Miller Lite, all day-long; plus brunch and specials on Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas. 20 W. Giants Fans.

Giants fans may want to head over to Trinity Bar for like-minded fans. The Lincoln Park pub is offering a low-key Super Bowl party featuring 1/2 price appetizers, $2.50 all bottles, $4 Blooy Mary's and $3 Guinness or Blue Moon.  2721 N Halsted St. (773) 880-9293.

Neutral Territory.

The Wicker Park Tavern is a great space for viewing the game with 9 Plasma Screen televisions plus excellent pub grub including their awesome burgers. They will also be offering game specials. 1958 West North Avenue, (773) 278-5138.
