Check out the Show Me Chicago gallery below for some of the haunting sights minus the sounds that await visitors to SCREAMS in the Park in Rosemont. Peek inside, if you dare, of the recreated "Haunted Mansion" of one of Chicago's most notorious serial killers, Dr. H.H. Holmes. The real Holmes whose true story was chronicled in the best seller "Devil in the White City" fitted the mansion as his laboratory for the murder of innocent victims who he lured inside by masquerading as a caring doctor.
From the outside the mansion appears to be an inviting hotel for visitors to the 1893 World's Colombian Exposition but inside visitors will discover the fog-filled secret passageways, gruesome torture chambers and vats of deadly, bubbling acid designed with murder and dismemberment in mind. Enter if you dare.
