Thursday, April 28, 2011. The countdown the Royal Wedding of Kate and William is well on its way. Running parallel to that story is the devastating story of the storms in Alabama that have killed nearly 200 people, flattened neighborhoods and left thousands trapped or injured.
Show Me Chicago has been conducting an unofficial survey of news coverage of both events. Trying to put things into perspective. We are hearing a lot of media coverage that goes something like this "our prayers and best wishes are with the people of Alabama" and now back to the wedding"--it made us wonder which story is more important to the general population.
