Chicago, Saturday, April 23, 2011.  It looks like a beautiful weekend to get out and enjoy some Easter activities.  Show Me Chicago has put together a few suggestions to get you started. Also check your local park district for more ideas.

In the City.
Hop on the Bunny Train and More.
Saturday, April 23rd from 11:00a.m. to 2:00p.m.

Head to the Chicago French Market for FREE train rides around the market, an Easter Egg hunt at 1:00pm and market-wide tastings. Featuring special guest: The Easter Bunny. 131 N. Chalkboard Easter Brunch.
Sunday, April 24, 2011.

Enjoy "Green Eggs and Ham"--an organic frittata with green herbs and spinach, roasted honey ham, topped with a side of applewood smoked bacon, specially created by Chalkboard's Chef Gilbert Langlois--a real bargain at $11. River North Easter Egg Hunt.
Sunday April 24th at 10:30a.m.

The hunt kicks off at 10:30a.m. Participants will also enjoy crafts, prizes, treats and entertainment. Montgomery Ward Park, 630 N. Kingsbury Street. RSVP at the River North Mom's Meet-up page. In the case of rain, the event will be moved indoors to Sprouts Academy Preschool at 350 W. Ontario.

Wolff's Flea Market Kids Appreciation Day Egg Hunt in Palatine.
Saturday April 23, 2011. 8a.m. to 3p.m.

The day long event features an Easter Egg Hunt at 11am. Prizes, games, music, magic, kids friendly booths.  Restaurant, 300 vendors selling antiques, collectibles, art, furniture, clothing, jewelry, toys, sports cards, etc. The Kids Day offers carnival games, lots of prizes, magician Marshal Brodien Jr. and Blake Everett.
