Maybe he needs to be checked for a concussion?

Wow, first week in and I am already struggling to write 2 posts a week. To be fair, I did take an unexpected trip to Indy so my week disappeared quicker than I planned.

Still, I said twice a week so here my second post of the week:

I love Chicago sports (except for the Cubs but that is another story for another time). I’ve been a supporter of Jay Cutler if for no other reason than that he is the best QB the Bears have seen since I was a small child and the Punky QB was under center.

Although I do not have kids of my own (thankfully) I am well versed in the anti-vax movement and think anyone who believes that load of shit is an idiot. I would apologize about the terse language but I’m not sorry. [I WILL pull this together, promise]

Part of being an adult is realizing that decisions you make have consequences. When you decide not to vaccinate your children like Jay Cutler and his wife Kristin Cavallari have decided, you are putting others at risk. There is ZERO science that shows vaccinations have any adverse effects on children but TONS of scientific research that proves children DIE of diseases that can be prevented by an inoculation. It is that simple.

I did not mean to let this blog get political (at least not so quickly) so I will end with a joke: Why isn’t Jay Cutler having his children vaccinated? He thinks it’s good when people catch things. Get it, he’s a QB, he throws footballs and wants them caught. Ok, so I didn’t say it was a good joke…

Thank you all for your support in this new endeavor, I promise to be better next week.

I knew you would have something to say about this when I first saw the article. Not the worst joke I have heard.
