Victory vs. Bobcats has Bulls living in the 60's

The Bulls defeated the Charlotte Bobcats on Friday night 95-64, and did so after starting 3 of their 5 starters.  Joakim Noah scored a team high 17 points, but this wasn't the most surprising fact from tonight's game.  Tonight marked the fifth time THIS SEASON that the Bulls held an opponent to 60-something points.  The Bulls have achieved this only 7 times in the last 10 seasons combined.  Is it just me, or are the Bulls stuck in the 60's?  Forget hippies, bell-bottoms, the Woodstock festival, or lava lamps...The Chicago Bulls are "boss", even without Derrick Rose.  They are 5-1 this year while Rose is sitting on the bench.

Speaking of the 60's, who could forget Tom Boerwinkle, Chet Walker, Bob Love, and Jerry Sloan?  All were prominent starters with Chicago back in the swinging sixties.  Did you also know that Chicago had a team in the 60's called the Packers and the Zephyrs?  Whoever made the decisions for the team must have been tripping on something special.

Paul Kantner from Jefferson Airplane once said "If you can remember anything about the sixties, then you weren't really there".  I think the same can be said for the opponents of the Chicago Bulls this season.  They have been beaten so hard that their clothes are out of style.

Go Bulls!  Peace Out...
