Planning Your Wisconsin Dells Vacation
Thinking about heading up to the Wisconsin Dells for a little family getaway sometime this summer? Not sure where to start your planning? Wondering which hotels and waterparks are the best fit for your family (because there are definitely different parks for different families)? As any experienced parent knows, family vacation tend to go a lot smoother when you have a plan -- it is not easy to "wing it' with little people in your life. So if you are thinking about a trip to the Dells sometime this summer, I definitely suggest that you do your homework before hand. Figure out which hotel will work best for your family. Pack wisely (lots and lots of beach towels!). Think about some good dining options that will make everyone in the family happy. Make a list of the attractions that you are hoping to see during your stay. This may sound like a lot of work -- but no need to feel overwhelmed. On the one hand, I love that the Wisconsin Dells is very much the same place that it was when I visited as a child. There are not too many places like that (and I love shows like the Tommy Bartlett Show now as much as I did as a child). However, that is not to say that everything about the Wisconsin Dells is the same as it was 3o years ago! Waterslides have come a long way, baby! In fact, 2012 is a year of many changes and a lot of firsts in the Wisconsin Dells.
