Did you have a wonderful summer with your kiddos? Me too.
Are you really, really glad that your kids have finally gone back to school? Yeah, so am I.
Summer is a blast -- but all good thing must end. The good news is that fall isn't so bad either. Sure, the kids are in school most days, but that leaves plenty of time for late afternoon trips to the parks and weekend family outings.
I am starting to fill in our fall calendar -- and I bet you are too. Wondering where to go to pick apples? Want to hit up a great farmer's market with the kiddos? Maybe you are looking for the best Halloween-themed events in the area or a great family-friendly destination for a weekend getaway. That's where I come in.
My name is Caitlin Murray Giles and I am a Mom on a Mission. As a mama to three active little ones (ages 7, 5, and 2), I am always on the lookout for family-friendly events and activities. Luckily for me (and you), there is no shortage of family-friendly things to do in the Midwest during the busy summer months!
I usually write about my search for family-friendly activities and events over at my blog Wee Windy City. But for the next few weeks, I'll be writing here at School's In as well. This blog is about taking advantage of all that a Midwestern autumn has to offer families like yours and mine. I am going to be sharing my favorite local events and activities -- and also talking about all of the fun stuff to do in the Wisconsin Dells at this time of the year.
Got a great suggestion for the perfect family activity? Want to tell me about your favorite attractions in the Wisconsin Dells? I would love it if you sent me an email.
Full disclosure, blogger transparency and all of that good stuff: School's In is sponsored by the Wisconsin Dells. I am being compensated for my posts, but the suggestions and words you find here are mine alone.
