Can you believe that we are only one week away from the big day? At this time next Monday, your kiddos will be collecting more loot than they possibly could (or should) eat. But they will also be having the time of their lives so you will be more than willing to let them sneak a piece of candy here and there.
If you are spending Halloween weekend in the Wisconsin Dells (how fun!), here are some suggestions on the best places to fill your goody bags and have a little bit of Halloween fun.
- Tanger Outlet Center is hosting little ghouls and goblins for trick-or-treating from 4-6 p.m. on Halloween. There will also be a costume contest at 5:45 p.m. in front of the Gap store.
- During the two weekends leading up to Halloween, Chula Vista Resort will have glow-in-the-dark mini golf, a Frankenstein's Scavenger Hunt to find the funky Frankenstein, pumpkin painting, trick-or-treating and candy corn guessing. Saturday, October 29 is the big Monster Mash family Halloween party and costume contest.
- The Wilderness Hotel & Golf Resort is offering trick-or-treating every Saturday in October, plus a Monster Mash Dance and costume contest on October 29.
- Older kids can stock their own treats, like caramel apples and chocolate fudge, at Downtown Dells confectionaries like Swiss Maid Fudge and Goody Goody Gum Drop.
