Ahola! With the extreme weather we’ve been facing in Chicago lately, there is no better time to escape to the tropical oasis of the Judy Istock Butterfly Haven at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum! Ditch the coat, gloves, scarves and hat and feel tropical, the museum will be hosting its first official Luau party on Friday, Jan. 10 in the signature Butterfly Haven.
Special guest and musician, Mr. Singer will perform his best hits and dinner will be served. Nature Museum staff will be onsite to help with fun crafts such as lei and grass skirt making out of recycled materials. The entire museum will be open, including Animal Secrets, which closes Sunday, January 12 – don’t miss it!
