About Last Night Danny (Michael Ealy) and Debbie (Joy Bryant) meet in a bar and have a one night stand and they decide to try and make it into a relationship. Joan (Regina Hall) and Bernie (Kevin Hart) are their friends that are dating but tell them not to get into a relationship, that it will not work out. Will the one night stand turn into the relationship they always dreamed of? Will they fail at trying? Will their friends be right?
I have to say About Last Night was pretty good for a remake filmed in Los Angeles. But I still love the 1986 version of About Last Night with Demi Moore, Rob Lowe, James Belushi and Elizabeth Perkins. Plus it was filmed in Chicago. There were some differences between the movie the new one is more crude and strong language. I thought the remake was funny, kept you interested and followed some of the 1986 version. This film added a new updated version geared towards the generation of today. I think they picked great actors to play the parts of the main characters. Overall it was a good remake but not better than the original.
Recommendation - I would say to go check out this film if you enjoy comedies, are a fan of the 1986 About Last Night, or are a fan of the movie stars in the film.
Rating - *** out of 4 Stars.
