Movie Review - Wolf of Wall Street (*)

In Wolf of Wall Street Jordan Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a stockbroker on Wall Street. Mark (Matthew McConaughey) is Jordan's boss on Wall Street. Naomi (Margot Robbie) is Jordan's wife. Donnie (Jonah Hill), Brad (Jon Bernthal) and Chester (Kenneth Choi) are the main people who work for Jordan (Leonardo DiCaprio). Patrick (Kyle Chandler) is the FBI agent.

Jordan (Leonardo DiCapro) comes from nothing and begins to work on Wall Street. After the Stock Market Crash of 1987 he goes to work for another company in New Jersey and then starts his own business where he rises to the top. The story involves his love for prostitutes, drugs and alcohol. Does Jordan get taken down by the FBI? Does Jordan waste his life away?

This film was way to long. I have to say it was a waste of time. Leonardo DiCapro acted well in his role as Jordan. This movie had some parts that were funny because they were so stupid. This film seems like such an exaggeration of how someone's life was like even if they were rich. Also this film had too much narration. The viewer can tell what is going on there is no need for that much narration. The costumes were nice and fancy the suits. If you must watch this movie I would say wait till it comes to DVD.

Warning - Heavy nudity, sex and drug use.

Recommendation - Do not waste your time or money on this movie.

Rating - * out of 4 Stars.
