january-17The final trip to the laundry for the chenille bedspread has taken its toll. It returned this morning tattered and threadbare, the soft luxurious pile matted. The fluffy covering laid across our lake is now shrunken and unsightly, in the process of disintegrating completely. Not even useful or attractive, the Salvation Army truck would disparage. We’ll just let it go.
