As someone who has been extremely blessed in life I feel that it is always important to give back to the community and others. On May 1st, Chicago House, a charity focusing on supportive services for people with HIV and AIDS, will be putting on their annual spring brunch and fashion show.
This year the fashion show will be headlined by none other than Chicago based retailer Mark Shale, with an appearance by their new creative director Maria Pinto. Guests will be sipping on Grey Goose cocktails as they watch the models stroll down the runway in the hottest spring looks for men AND women.
As if a fashion show is not enough, you can shop till you drop (while helping a great cause) during the silent auction, including prizes from major retailers like American Airlines. Or take a piece of the glamorous decor from the event home with you by purchasing some of the of the stunning floral arrangements from the one-of-a-kind "Flower Market".
This social soiree will take place on State St. at the Harold Washington Library Center. Go to their website now to purchase your ticket, no true fashionista will want to miss this!
