Patricia Andrews-Keenan is a PR professional for a new century.
After a standout career as a corporate communications person with award winning skills in media relations, public relations, community outreach and event planning, she hung her shingle in 2008 and hasn’t looked back. Andrews-Keenan has been energized by how social media is changing the landscape for media and PR practitioners.
Her firm, The Tallulah Group (named after her Louisiana hometown), embraces web technologies and uses Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare and LinkedIn as just a few of the tools in her PR arsenal. Clients, including Chicago State University, Urban Pre Academies, LINK Unlimited and Columbia College Chicago, find Andrews-Keenan to be the go to person for media, speechwriting and executive positioning.
Andrews-Keenan’s background encompasses stints as a journalist, PR manager, government affairs director, communications and corporate affairs executive with top-drawer companies including Comcast, the Nielsen Company and AT&T. She gives back through work with Chicago United, the YMCA’s Black & Latino Steering Committee and The Chicago Sinfonietta.
A degree in Journalism from Grambling State University provided the foundation for the success she enjoys today.
