March Madness: A Free App & A Contest For Free Tickets!

It's March and the Madness is upon us.  That's pretty much all I know about it, except that right  now office pools are circulating and it's time to put your money on a team. I also know that my basketball loving friends have informed me that their time will be entirely consumed by basketball games for the next few weeks.  I plan to get them away from their tv's or favorite sports bars - everyone needs to have a life beyond March Madness, right?  I plan to convince them that they won't miss a beat by downloading the Official NCAA March Madness On Demand App, which is available now at the iTunes Store.

The app will let you watch live video of the games on your i-devices (including the iPad), keep track of the brackets, provide you with a schedule of the games you want to see and which tv channels to tune into, and much more. So you can have a life and your March Madness at the same time!

Speaking of the games, fans might also want attend some games, and ChicagoNow's own Chicago Sports Guru (The Sports Bank) has a contest running where the winner will score tickets to the Big Ten Basketball Tournament Session 4 (Semifinals) on March 12th in Indiana.  For more information and to enter the contest, visit the Chicago Sports Guru's blog.
