Good morning! So I recently started reading the book “The Happiness Project” by Gretchen Rubin. I highly recommend it. Funny Fact: I bought this book 10 years ago. However, I never read it. It’s funny that a decade later, I find myself in a different bookstore, near the self-help section, found the same book, looked... Read more »
Have you ever seen the TV show “What Would You Do?” It’s a show on ABC where weird situations are staged, and recorded via hidden camera to see how people will react. Pretty old-school concept. I like the show, because it always does spark thought as to “What would I do?” Which brings us to the... Read more »
It’s currently 9:15pm. In 45 minutes, someone’s life will change. Forever. I’m slightly ashamed to admit that I wish to be that person. Yes, I bought a Mega Millions ticket. I bought 10 actually, but only 8 of them are mine. 2 belong to my friend Tricia. Ah Tricia…how do I describe her. Friend. Platonic.... Read more »
As I type this, on my increasingly problematic iPhone 6s, I am sitting in Warm Belly Bakery in West Loop. Now, anyone who knows me on a personal level knows I am not a fan of the West Loop. I’ve worked here for 3 years. The parking is horrendous. I call it the #PoopLoop because... Read more »

Better late than never I always say. Welcome to my 2 days or so late entry to the Evening Blogapalooz-Hour: Volume XXXIX. My mission, which I’ve chose to accept: “Write about things you once worried about but don’t anymore.” (School, work, aging, your looks, having someone to eat lunch with during 5th grade, money, clothes, finding... I love Chicago! Anyone who spends any amount of time with me knows this. I absolutely positively love this city!!! I love exploring every nook and cranny. The fact that I haven’t seen them all yet is the perfect reason to keep trying. And in that exploration, I’ve come to find that there are times... Read more »
