This coming Monday, fans will have their chance to purchase single game tickets to the Blackhawks' 2013-14 regular season. Tickets go on sale at 10am, and can be purchased via chicagoblackhawks.com, Ticketmaster, or by calling (800) 745-3000.
It's safe to assume the hottest ticket will be the home opener and banner raising vs the Washington Capitals, but there are a few "under the radar" gems you might want to get your hands on.
Saturday, October 19th the Toronto Maple Leafs come to town. The Leafs are a team on the rise. Go check out Nazm Kadri, who exploded on the scene last season.
The Anaheim Ducks make their final visit of the season on Friday, January 17th. It could be your last chance to see the great Teemu Selanne. Of course, we say that every season...but if he does play this year, it's almost certainly his last season.
Speaking of farewell tours, Martin Brodeur and the Devils come Monday, December 23rd. That's if he's still starting at that point. The Devils acquired Corey Schneider this offseason. Chances are, he'll get at least 40% of the starts.
The New York Rangers are in town on Wednesday, January 8th. It's always fun to see an Original Six team, but now Hawks fans will have the chance to boo former Canucks' coach Alain Vigneault, who is now the head man for the Rangers.
The Stanley Cup Final rematch vs the Bruins won't be under the radar, but if you get in right at 10am, you might have a chance. That game is Sunday, January 19th.
Good luck on getting your tickets. I hope I see you at banner night.
