Tonight, when the Blackhawks face off against the Detroit Red Wings, they'll have to do so without their captain Jonathan Toews, who will miss at least this game with an upper body injury.
For what it's worth, the Blackhawks are saying this injury is not related to the wrist injury he rehabbed during the All Star break, but that opens the door for speculation on a potential concussion. As of now, the Hawks are calling it day to day, but I'm sure more info will seep out in the days to come.
Obviously, this is a huge blow to the Blackhawks. Even when he's not scoring, Toews is the best player on the ice for the Hawks. Now, he'll be replaced by a guy who's been a healthy scratch for five of the last six games in Brendan Morrison.
If there is a ray of sunshine for tonight's game, Pavel Datsyuk will miss the game, and the next two weeks, with a knee injury. That's a wash, right? Let's hope so.
Corey Crawford will start for the Hawks, while Jimmy Howard will return to the net for the Red Wings tonight.

We're in trouble. This will be a great test for this team tonight w/out Johnny.
I think Kaner still gets too much credit on this team. He's not an all around player and just doesn't hustle for the puck - EVER.
I'm not saying trade him, but hey, if it happened I wouldn't be surprised.
