Rick Ross Mastermind could have been really good if...

RickRoss

Rick Ross has a new CD that is arriving in stores and digital download distributors tomorrow entitled, “Mastermind”

This CD has me perplexed.

I knew the CD was coming because I got about 4 phone calls last week with my friends telling me that I was I was on the Jimmy Fallon show performing with the ROOTS.

A’int that about a blip! Very funny Ralph and Stovall. You black….

While I don't condone his ridiculous excuse for the Trayvon Martin lyric which should have never been written in the first place, the new Rick Ross CD is banging.

It's sad that Rick Ross didn’t break on the scene telling kids that he was an entertainer and his hip-hop verses portray what other G’s have done.

NO ONE HAS SOLD THAT MUCH DOPE, OR KILLED THAT MANY PEOPLE AND RAPPED ABOUT IT FOR THE POLICE, FBI, INTERPOL AND ALL OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO PIECE TOGETHER THE CRIMES.

If they did C.S.I Miami would be about 10 minutes long. Who killed this guy? Wait for the Coke top 8 at 8; we will find out then!

If Rick Ross would have let kids know that he went to school and held down a job as a correctional officer he would be bigger than he is in the Entertainment industry.

(NO PUN INTENDED).

Furthermore, Rick Ross could have started a journalism and poetry foundation encouraging the youth to practice writing.

Rick Ross is Hip-Hop, there is no doubting that. I just wish he ‘d done more out of the studio with the kids to promote education and helping the youth.

I would have help promote this CD in its entirety. It is that good!

I have to state the violence, the drugs, the misogynistic views, and the continuous glamorizing of wealth kills all of the love that I have for this CD!

It is a full on commercialized “ Super Gangsta Rap” production. So buyers beware, but you already know that.

I know you are asking yourself, “SELF”, if you are tired of the, (bitch) and (Ho) references why are you writing about this CD.

There is one thing that Rick Ross, Scarface, DMX, JayZ and others do for brothers who take the bullshit and racism from our society day in and day out.

THEY ALLOW US TO HAVE AN AUDITORY IMAGINARY OUTLET OF RELEASE! (WHOOOOSAAA)

Their music allows the corporate and blue collar brother to take out our frustrations that we experience in the office workplace by putting on a CD and screaming F-You lyrics to the top of our lungs. We can also go in the bathroom, or go on our lunch break and growl, grind our teeth, and dream about bussin THE MAN or THE WOMAN in the chops after they have continuously demoralized and emasculated.

Damn Rozay! I want to hype this CD up because this CD is off the chain!

The Kanye, Big Sean song.
The Weeknd hook.
PUFFY screaming at YOU!
All of that is brilliant!
The production is masterful!

To bad your team didn't take the chance and put you in a different state of mind before this CD was conceptualized.

This could have been the chance to capture Biggies’ playful, child-like, dance party music.

Remember he successfully did that with his Life After Death CD.

I still give “Mastermind” 5 out of 5 STARS.

I just won’t put the shades on and be one of the stars with you!

Just my thoughts man…
