Listening to Hip Hop does not make you a terrorist!

Are you kidding me? The tragedy in Boston was enough. We don’t need news organizations like FOX and CNN to now start stereotyping that Hip Hop was a factor in these bombings.

Plain and simple it was Hate! Hate for others! Hate for self. Not hate gained from listening to a Hip Hop song.

Now that both brothers have been captured we should be focused on the healing process, preventative measures and more importantly an understanding of why this happens.

It is not Islam either. Islam from its inception is a peaceful religion whose meaning is peace, purity, submission and obedience. There are billions of Muslims who go about their lives pure and obedient to the values of the word of Allah and remain faithful to those teachings.

CNN and FOX credibility should be in question during this horrific tragedy as both organizations turned to tabloid journalism providing and publishing assumptions instead of allowing for the stories to unfold.

Back in the day Walter Cronkite, Bryant Gumbel, Dan Rather, Tom Brokaw, Peter Jennings, Max Robinson, Russ Ewing, Fahey Flynn and other journalists that I grew up watching and admiring would just report the news and not allow their opinions, good or bad, to skew the news one way or another.

If you remember early on in the Boston tragedy the first description of the terrorist was dark skinned black or African male with an accent. Both major cable news organizations ran with that story.

Let’s take a look at the picture that was painted. African male whose love for hip hop has created a hatred for all races enough to make homemade bombs and leave them at various places at the Boston Marathon with the intent to kill.

ABOUT AS FAR OFF THE TWO TERRORISTS AS YOU COULD BE!

The media has to stop creating this divide among races period. We have so many accomplishments as a country that continuing to sum up wins and losses by race will only hold us back.

Martin Luther King was a major force behind the forward push of the Civil Rights movement. That is a true statement! But without the help of Whites who also lost their lives and legislation signed by the President the Civil Rights bill would have fallen short.

In the days before this horrible tragedy the medias focus was on Jay-Z and how he could have the stones to travel to Cuba on his wedding anniversary with his wife. Both cable networks continued to trash Jay-Z for his choice of vacation destination but never mentioned anything about Justin Timberlake’s song, Suit and Tie. In the song Suit and Tie, Jay-Z says, “Green card for the Cuban Links”. I guess its ok for Justin not for Jay-Z.

The greatest asset of this country is that Jay-Z had the opportunity to respond to the media and the naysayers immediately overnight by doing what he does best. Using his God given talent to write a rhyme and address the media directly with the song of the year entitled, “Open Letter”. Here is a link to the song for you to listen to if you haven’t heard it. This version includes Common as well.

With every tragedy comes an opportunity to grow and get closer as a community. Boston we got your back. No individual or organization should come into this country and take lives because of hate.

There are millions of great people from Chesnya as well. One bad apple does not a harvest make. Our Chesnyan Americans need to keep their heads up.

No media outlet has the right to push its stereotypical views on all of us just to try and raise the ratings meter. FOX NEWS and CNN you wonder why you continually change your programming to attract and maintain viewers.

It’s not your programming. IT’S YOUR PROGRAM!

I love America. We have the greatest government, the greatest food ☺, and the greatest technologies. We can speak what is on our mind! If we speak loud enough people will listen.

TO YOU TERRORIST THE PEN IS ALWAYS MIGHTER THAN THE SWORD. YOUR TERRORISTIC ACTS WERE CAPTURED BY SOCIAL MEDIA.
DO NOT ATTACK MY COUNTRY AGAIN.
