Real Estate Updates and the Sights of the Season!

I was honored to be interviewed two different times by Chicago Crain's Magazine recently.  They sometimes interview experienced brokers to get their take on the Real Estate market.  One of the key points I made is that I was able to work with my clients and get a price reduction on a listing recently, and there were three offers that came over the very next week!  The point is that there is a market for real estate but the market is very demanding as to what prices it will be attracted to.

After over 15 years working in the high end of Chicago Real Estate it is gratifying to be recognized as one who knows the market.  I'll keep you all posted for when the results come out!

I wanted to mention a very worthy cause that I recently volunteered to take part in.  It is the Ryan Licht Sang Bipolar Foundation.  I have seen the terrible consequences of Bipolarism several times as it has affected loved ones in my life, and I am honored to have a chance to try and help the cause.  Please take a look at their website if you have a chance at .

I love the wonderful events happening around Christmas.  One of my favorites is the Deck The Hall Christmas Concert event at the Old St Patrick's Church at 700 West Adams in downtown Chicago.  The concert takes place at 7:30 tonight (Friday December 3) and tomorrow night December 4.

Speaking of getting out and enjoying the sights of the Holidays, here is a picture of me with two of my favorite four legged friends out for an early morning walk during this frosty Christmas season!

Finally, if you have a chance please don't forget to check out the lights on the Magnificent Mile, one of Chicago's most famous holiday sights, and another must-see activity is to take the entire family to see the beautiful lighting display at the Lincoln Park Zoo, the famous Zoo Lights!  This wonderful exhibit opened on November 26 and goes all the way to January 2, 2011.  The entire grounds of the Zoo are lit up for this exciting event.
