Lots of Things to Be Thankful For!

One night some time ago I had the honor of attending a dinner with some successful Chicago women - one of whom was recently featured in a USA Today cover story.  If you haven't heard of the Conservation Center feel free to take a look at their website at www.theconservationcenter.com .  The CEO, Heather Becker, has done a wonderful service in the name of saving artistic treasures!

I was so happy to hear Oprah put in a good word for the Joffrey Ballet.  On November 22, during her "Favorite Things" show, Oprah mentioned the Joffrey's seasonal performance of the Nutcracker Ballet as one of her favorite things, and two company members, namely the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Nutcracker Prince, in full costume, came out onto the stage!

On the Real Estate front, I have a new listing in a building that has one of the very best views to be found in all of the high rises of Chicago.  I am talking about the One Museum Park building at 1211 S. Prairie, Unit 1401.  Feel free to take a look at this exquisite listing on my website at www.melindajakovich.com !  It has stunning views of the Shedd Aquarium and the Field Museum and Soldier Field to the East and a commanding view of downtown Chicago and Millennium Park to the North!

I was invited down to Florida for Thanksgiving Day where I have the honor of being with a wonderful couple who moved from Chicago down to Naples, Florida some time ago.  My friend was one of the founders of Lettuce Entertain You, and the Lettuce restaurant named L20 was recently given the highest rating of three stars by the esteemed Michelin Guide!

I hope you all have a safe and wonderful

 Thanksgiving!
