Goodbye to the Summer of 2010 - Long Live the Fall Market!

Summer is ending with some memorable moments!

Being a fan of the Chicago Skyline, I was thrilled to see a dance performance at the Museum of Contemporary Art where the pieces were designed to express the Skyline.  There was a special discussion between the architect Dirk Denison and the choreographer Lar Lubovitch.

Then, on to Coldwell Banker's annual President's Club at the beautiful Lake Geneva Resort, where I joined other top brokers from the Midwest to discuss the market and learn more about Coldwell Banker's exciting plans for the next year.

It was pointed out that a pure website approach to marketing is now old school and the exciting possibilities of Social Media, such as forums, Facebook, and Blogs are all the rage!  Kudos to Jimmy and ChicagoNow for being one of the hotspots where peole come for immediate news about our great City!

Also, the good news is that sales are up compared to last year, and personally I am feeling a great uplift in the marketplace.  I completed negotiations on one of my luxury listings while riding in a car on my way home from a New Mexico resort!

Speaking of wonderful blogs and social media, my friend Candace Jordan deserves major applause for her well-deserved honor of being named one of the top influential peole in Chicago's philanthropic community.  Kudos to Candid Candace and all your hard work!
