Rare, But Not Overdone -- Yet

If you find yourself on this page, chances are you are pissed at me.

I started this blog with every intention of it just being a look a the "rare"  people, places and things in Chicago, and because I have seen some very real changes in culture and society that concern me, I detour quite often into the political.

I do not like politics; it ruins a good many things, like health care, work ethic, works of fiction, movies and people.   Unfortunately, due to the actions of all political parties over the last forty years, especially, everything has become a political act -- from the lightbulb in your lamp to eating an Egg McMuffin, and it is really tiring and absurd.

I hope to go back to the original focus of this blog, because, frankly, politics and fighting with those who oppose me gets old.
