Inspirational graphic tees: Let the words on your shirt remind others that we're all beautiful and bright

I love fashion, especially fashion with a message. That's why I am thrilled to see the that inspirational graphic tees trend seems to be here to stay.

To me, that says I'm not the only one that sometimes likes to let fashion do the talking for a change.

Yes, by wearing a bold shirt with several worlds emblazoned on the front, we can show that we're loud and proud to be ourselves, and maybe even inspire others to do the same.

I hate to say it, but at a time when so many of us walk around with headphones in our ears and smartphones in our hands, we need to let our fashion do the talking now more than ever. And, it's refreshing to see mainstream brands like J.Crew, Madewell, Old Navy, Zara and others stepping up and stepping in to allow us to share positive messages with our family, friends, neighbors, colleagues and others - simply through our shirts.

I have to admit that I probably wouldn't spread a verbal message of love to everyone seated on my CTA "L" car, dining at my local cafe, picking up my sons at school, or shopping at the market. So, why not let fashion let me a bit bolder, a bit louder, and even a bit prouder?

Heading into winter, I'm happy to say that inspirational graphic tees are taking a larger amount of space in my closet. And, it makes me happy to spread a message of love, pride and inspiration to everyone I see - and who sees me, too.

Here is a look at a few inspirational graphic tees that have won a place in my heart and an inspirational spot in my closet:

Are you a fan of the inspirational graphic tee trend? Which one(s) do you have in your closet? Do you have your eye on any particular shirts? What phrase would you put on your tee if you had the chance to design one of your own? Please share your thoughts and favorites in the comments below.
