Old School Halloween Costumes

Apparently in the 1950's only one sister got the costume and it wasn't me!
I did most of my trick or treating in the 50′s and 60′s.  My kids did theirs in the 80′s and 90′s.  That makes me old and the costumes I have worn or sewn, old school.  Really old school.  I can remember reading an Erma Bombeck article where she had two ideas for costumes 1.... Read more »

Halloween quilting and sewing

It is the middle of October and time to put the Halloween quilt up. It is cute and I like it very much.  I made it about ten years ago and even lightly hand quilted it.  The most fun was buying the Halloween fabrics.  It always make me a bit sentimental about sewing around Halloween... Read more »

My passions are quilting and sewing. Add to that French, Spanish, books, swimming, travels, new restaurants, biking and chocolate and you have me. All of these are best shared with family and friends. Except for chocolate, I prefer not to share that.
