If I drink my water from a Hydro Flask am I the coolest quilter ever?

The first time I went to Portland to visit my daughter I felt like I was thirsty the entire time. I had a really hard time finding bottled water to take with me while visiting the city. Everyone seemed to carry refillable water bottles with them and utilize the refilling stations.

This time I was determined to quench my thirst like the natives. On the flight you could tell who was from Portland and who was going there to visit. The Oregon folks all had recently replenished bottles with them.

hydroflask-logoI looked closely at my seatmates' bottles. They both had this symbol on them. Good enough for me, I had made my choice.

We deplaned and I scurried off to the gift shops, yes, right in the airport. I went through one and was undecided.

On to another named after the state itself. I had one in my hand but was still looking when I spied my heart's desire. And it was blue, my favorite color.

I grabbed it and announced to my husband that I was buying it. He was incredulous plus he was sure I was getting ripped off by purchasing in the airport. I was steadfast and I walked out with my new water bottle in my hand.

The amazing thing is that I made a fast purchase based on plane observations and I loved it. I brought it with me everywhere on the trip. Then we met up with my daughter and her boyfriend.

She was shocked that I had a Hydro Flask because she had one also. So did her boyfriend and trust me, they are wayyyyyy cooler than I am. She filled me in on the many advantages of this flask.

We then visited Bend where they are headquartered. Many people think they make them there but they are20170801_184129 actually produced in China and designed in Bend. I had stumbled onto a hip and cool purchase, can you believe it?

It keeps my water ice cold, I mean ice cold, for 24 hours. I bring it up to my sewing studio and sip from it frequently as I love ice water.

I am now part of the movement to save the world from lukewarm! You can read all about these water bottles here. I am #livingliferefreshed.

Here's my question? If I drink my water from a Hydro Flask am I the coolest quilter ever? Or merely hydrated?

I am thinking the latter! I love my water bottle, sorry, Hydro Flask. However, I am a little worried that I am, in fact, so non cool that maybe they will be worried that I am lowering the brand's image.

So, let's keep this on the down low. My newly found chilled beverage delight will just be between us quilters.

I'll drink to that!

Sew happy!
