In 2015, I attended the Grand Hotel Annual Spring Needle Art Seminar and I loved it. My husband adored it even more. Three gourmet meals a day? Golf? Fancy rooms and many comfortable chairs? He told ME we were going for sure in 2016 as well.
I figure whatever I start in the first session I can maybe just complete in the second one, ha ha! Last year I took a hand sewing session, only one. And I bought the kit in class.
This year my classes require a sewing machine and kit plus oodles of fabric. So that is what I packed.
I have my featherweight and some accessories for that. I have scissors, rulers, rippers and cutters. I also have about 17 million pounds of blue and white fabric.
What else did I pack? Oh yes, some clothes! You have to dress up for dinner so I have 3 nice dresses and regular clothes.
I also have my kindle, my lap top, magazines and socks. You can never have enough socks. Or thread, I have lots of that as well!
I think I am ready for my adventure. I hope when you read this I am napping in the car on the way up there.
Or drinking coffee, oh, that would be nice too!
