I went to QuiltCon with the hope of getting inspired and oh baby, I was inspired and then some! I took hundreds of pictures of quilts and the tags next to them. Some of the pictures were on my phone, others on my casual camera and still others on my better camera. I loaded them all on my computer and got to experience the show all over again.
I had to be selective in what I showed, however. I tried to pick out some winners and some I just adored. If it won, I tried to remember to put an insert of the ribbon.
I cropped the pictures and reduced them. I went through them various times and realized I had pretty much lost track of which tag went with which quilt.
Update since initial posting: I went ahead and published without the names of the quilts nor the quilters. And then a magical thing happened, Holly Harper from the Chicago Modern Quilt Guild come to my rescue like a Quilt Angel. She sent me an email with most of the quilts identified so I updated the post. Isn't she the best person, so generous and giving! I can never thank her enough.
I hope you love my favorite quilts from QuiltCon 2015 as much as I enjoyed seeing them. I am all revved up for quilting.
Let me know if any of these help you get your creative juices flowing!
