Art in Cuba and my next quilt

Our recent trip to Cuba was a People to People trip designed to educate us about not only the people who live there but how they express themselves. We visited schools, heard music, went to concerts, experienced organic farming and reclaimed coffee plantations. Throughout the week, we saw art, much of it urban. I loved the Art in Cuba and want it to be expressed in a quilt.

But how?

Should I focus on color or scenes? People or cars? Natural landscape or man made vistas?

Here are a few of the sights that I want to incorporate. Let me know your thoughts while I let mine marinate.

Planning a new quilt makes me sew happy!

Yes, I am a little obsessed about Cuba right now. Here's my last post. Also, here are my thoughts about this kind of creative process.
