I am such a lucky quilter, I was able to attend two wonderful quilt shows two weekends in a row. What quilty bliss! Once again I was recharged and inspired by all the fantastic quilts I saw. I think they just give off creative molecules because I am raring to sew after two amazing weekends.
The Pride of the Prairie Quilt show was very well organized, laid out very thoughtfully and even had a coat check. I loved that detail! I am amazed, truly amazed at the amount of work that goes into putting on a show like this. There were quilts to marvel at, baskets to bid on, products for auction and all kinds of merchants. This does not just happen, this is the result of all kinds of work. A woman in my Naperville Modern Quilt guild belongs to this guild and gave me the book mark for the show. Thanks sew much Jennifer!
I was able to meet a friend here to peruse the quilts and ran into a bunch of people I knew. Does life get any better? I don't think so.
I should have taken more pics but these are the quilts which jumped out at me and said, take my picture!

I was never able to get a pic of a super house quilt at the show but if you check out Karen DeWitt's blog, you can see it. She got a magnificent photo.
