Don't you have any fantasies? Ideas in your head that you would really like to see come to fruition? That magical vacation? A meal where everyone discusses something meaningful in an intelligent and civilized way? (I don't know dear, what do you think the implications of the Magna Carta were on our society today?)
I had a fantasy of having the entire family all decked out in matching pajamas. I never quite pulled it off but I did get my girls to go along with it. I love those daughters of mine!
I gradually forgot about that dream until a catalog arrived in my mailbox. Pajamagram, chock full of smiling families who willingly, no cheerfully, wear matching nightwear. Probably they do it every day, these pajamagram families.
But on Christmas they really bring it up a notch. Carols are playing softly in the background as a fire crackles in the fireplace. Presents are opened with decorum and gratitude while mugs of hot chocolate are consumed. They even have fresh breath the minute they get out of bed.
And they are all wearing Matching Pajamas on Christmas morning. Come see pictures of my fantasies and my realities.
