Portland's Japanese Gardens and fabrics

Visiting Portland was such a mix of experiences. We were able to see our daughter which was wonderful on a personal level. We went with her to the home of friends I have known since High School so there were wonderful family/friends time here. We also were able to see gorgeous nature which I showed in posts one, two and three about Portland.

On our last day we decided to stay within the city limits. We had French food, bought souvenirs for Zara and ate ice cream. Finally we combined Portland's Japanese Gardens and fabrics at a superb Modern Quilt Store, Bolt. Come along on a virtual tour, it was quite a worthwhile last day.

My passions are quilting and sewing. Add to that French, Spanish, books, swimming, travels, new restaurants, biking and chocolate and you have me. All of these are best shared with family and friends. Except for chocolate, I prefer not to share that.
