A Blueprint for President Biden

Joe Biden Net Worth 2020 - How Did Joe Biden Earn His Money?
“Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”     Emma Lazarus

The election's long over; it's time to move on.

Let Biden make choices and get his groove on.

He now can transition, take over the reins

And in the back mirror put Trump and his stains.

He'll welcome back allies and reaffirm foes;

Recognize climate change, what science knows.

He'll advance equal justice throughout our great land.

He'll reach out to the world and recapture our brand.

The wretched, the homeless, the tired, the poor

He'll invite to breathe free and to enter our door.

Our nation needs healing, a shelter from storms.

May God  give him wisdom and faith in our norms.

  • Based on yesterday's announcements, he's assembling an administration of old folks.

As fst as opening the doors, OPD solved the illegal immigration problem by making it unhealthy to cross the border.

    Happy Thanksgiving, my friend.

One thing we know is that Biden won't sit behind a #tinydesk like #diaperdon did and tell some reporter that you don't talk to the President like that (unless it is a "reporter" from Newsmax).

  • In reply to jack:

This tweet sums it up, and it's after Hamill ate a cibatta with no tomatoes.

  • In reply to jack:

Near the one you were directing us to was another I liked:
"I had a Rudy Giuliani joke, but it's lost its appeal." These lines are corny--even juvenile--but they are still therapeutic.

  • In reply to jnorto:

That's a good one. Sort of similar to the old joke Lawyer: "I appeal to you." Judge: "No you don't."

  • I enjoy your couplets and share your sentiment, But Joe faces a hard task. The politics of resentment are still powerful in the country and he faces a long uphill slog before he reaches that shelter..

  • In reply to jnorto:

    Happy Thanksgiving, my friend.

  • Thank you for a beautiful blueprint. I look forward to his calming influence, although I trust it won't deprive you of material. Happy Thanksgiving, my friend.

  • In reply to Margaret H. Laing:

Thanks, Margaret. Happy Thanksgiving to you. And be safe.

  • In reply to Aquinas wired:

You're very welcome. And also to you.

  • What a wonderful post, AW. Thank you!

  • Happy Thanksgiving, my friend. And may all your days be sunny.
