It's said that Trump's base won't reject him
And solidly they'll reelect him.
But if a groundswell
Of blue voters as well,
Their number's enough to eject him.

One has to wonder if the results in Ky and La, where bund rallies couldn't stop the Dem. candidates, are an indicator. One has to chip away at states, and not just voters.
Basically, though, there isn't a Republican Party left, but just a Fascist one.
You're right on the money. Thanks to the anachronistic Electoral College.
Yep, the GOP lemmings will follow him off the cliff. No question.
Thanks indeed to the Electoral College. And don't be deceived by Trump defenders who say of impeachment, as White House counsel did in October, "Put simply, you seek to overturn the results of the 2016 election and deprive the American people of the President they have freely chosen." In fact, the American people rejected Trump by around three million votes.
The American people didn't elect Trump; the Electoral College did If one part of the constitution put him in office, another part can be used to try to remove him, either through senate removal or by feeding the next November's Blue Wave in the states.
It's what Rex Huppke said.
There is a party I tend to vote for more than the other, but I consider myself independent of both major parties. But as usual, I like your vision very much.
My party leanings prior to 2008 would have put me in the category of what the mad tweeter classified as "Human scum."* I headed in another direction when GWB let the economy go into the toilet, and Obama (unlike the fascists*) was a rational person, and shared some of my background.
*Part of the reason I said above there was no longer a Republican Party.
