No president should be above the law. Indict Trump.

indexindictment

" Some people claim that, even if Rosenstein gives Mueller permission to indict Trump as DOJ rules allow, the Constitution forbids such indictment. No! Nothing in its text, structure, or history supports that 'POTUS-is- above-the-law' view, nor does any SCOTUS precedent support it."   Laurence Tribe, Constitution scholar

The DOJ says that Trump can't be indicted.

For the sake of the office is what they have cited.

But this opens the door

To corruption and more

And not what the Founders had meant or  invited.

  • There is (and during the Clinton years was) the debate whether you have to impeach and remove him first. While time is running out on PENCE in 2018!!! there will be in a month a House willing to impeach.

If there is enough proof of criminal activity, enough senators will peel off from the fascists rather than go down with them. At least Nixon had enough sense to resign.

  • In reply to jack:

Nixon probably knew Ford would pardon him. Trump could triangulate his escape the same way.

  • In reply to Aquinas wired:

I'm sure Pence could be convinced to go along He doesn't want to be Pres. in 2021.

  • In reply to jack:

Who says Pence would need to wait so long? I think either an indictment, impeachment or both are likely in 2019.

  • If you want to appreciate how hollow a man Pence is, read "
The Shadow President" bu Michael D'Antonio and Peter Eisner.
